Back in the day, no one knew what you looked like, so we had to send photos of ourselves to the clubs we wanted to play at.  I guess they wanted to know if we were good looking... they were in for a bit of a surprise!  But now we have the internet, and these are a thing of the past.  Like my hair.  My thick, curly, dark, beautiful hair.  Sigh.
